Paul Schmidt
I started my guiding career in 2016, guiding locally here in Colorado and taking my first AMGA course in Estes Park. Since then I’ve guided in New Zealand, Japan, Canada, and Alaska, and completed my AMGA Ski Guide certification in 2022. When I’m not guiding I work as a ski patroller/avalanche forecaster at a local ski area. In the summers I manage a Via Ferrata at that same ski area. My passion for skiing and guiding runs deep and I get a lot of fulfillment from my job when I can help folks achieve a goal.
