Kel Rossiter
Kel is an American Mountain Guide IFMGA Certified Mountain Guide. He splits his time between the Northeastern US and the French, Swiss, and Italian Alps. He is passionate about infusing his guiding with effective instruction. This passion for learning and teaching led him to earn a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Vermont.
When he isn't off in the hills personally or professionally, he enjoys bringing his experiences back to the front-country through writing. His work has appeared in Climbing Magazine, Alpinist Magazine Mountain Standards, The Seattle Times, and The Wall Street Journal, among others. Kel is also an Athlete-Ambassador with Ortovox.
Committed to being an engaged member of the climbing community, he served as a board member with the Climbing Resource Access Group of Vermont (CRAG-VT) for seven years and continues to be a very active volunteer in the organization.
