Morgan McGlashon
Morgan’s first love with skiing began at age two on the magic carpet, but has grown and blossomed into a life centered around the mountains. After a childhood of ski racing, Morgan had a stint competing on the freeski world tour before shifting her focus to backcountry skiing and ski mountaineering. She is now a full time mountain guide, avalanche course instructor, backcountry ski coach and AMGA certified ski guide based in Jackson, WY.
Her innate curiosity and quest for adventure has led her around the world where she has discovered deep snow, big rocks, and lively people. Morgan loves sharing her time on snow with others and hopes to instill confidence and competence in anyone who wishes to be there.
Morgan has completed ski mountaineering descents, alpine climbs, and obscure human powered adventures in places such as the Tetons, the Alaska Range, Alps, Andes, Cascades, Wind River Range, Japan, and Iceland. She is the youngest female to ski the Grand Teton and complete ski descents on every major peak in the Tetons.
