Joshua Cole
Joshua Cole is an IFMGA Licensed Guide (certified by the AMGA in the Rock, Alpine, and Ski disciplines). He is a co-owner of North Cascades Mountain Guides and lead guide at North Cascade Heli, and has been guiding since 2004. Josh is an instructor and examiner for the AMGA, and a PRO trainer for AIARE. He currently guides in the North Cascades (WA), Red Rock (NV), European Alps, Scandinavia, and Japan.
Josh has given trainings and presentations on wilderness risk management to numerous organizations and is a risk management consultant for Experiential Consulting. Josh has worked as a professional ski patroller in Montana and New Zealand, and has a former life as a geologist.
