Alex Banas
Alex works primarily as a heli-ski guide for Canadian Mountain Holidays, with years of experience guiding in some of the world’s most breathtaking mountains. From the rugged peaks of Chile and Iceland to the stunning backcountry of Canada and Colorado, Alex loves sharing the beauty of skiing in the mountains with others.
Starting out as a Ski Patroller, Alex’s career in the avalanche industry has been built on a foundation of safety, knowledge, and passion for moving efficiently and safely through the mountains. Alex calls Crested Butte home but travels to Revelstoke for the winter months and finishes off the winter in May In Iceland.
